Paste where you click

Paste into the Navigator row you chose, instead of wherever the current selection points.

Since DBE 2.0.0

Paste where you click makes the Navigator row under your pointer the destination. It removes the mismatch between the row you opened and whichever element happens to be selected elsewhere in the builder.

Paste into a specific element

  1. Copy an element in Builderius.
  2. Right-click the Navigator row that should contain it.
  3. Choose Paste. DBE inserts into the row you clicked, without requiring you to select it first.

Paste at the top level

Right-click the empty space below the Navigator tree and choose Paste. The copied element is added at the top level. This is useful when the tree is long and no existing element is the right parent.

What changed in 2.0

The feature is standard and on by default in DBE 2.0. It works with the shorter, grouped Navigator context menu and the existing element clipboard.
